Kimchi is the most representative of Korean foods !!
泡菜是韓國食物中最具代表性的!!

I think most of people know only one type of 김치Kimch which is 배추김치 baechukimchi as like the picture.
我想多數的人只知道韓國泡菜中的其中一種 那就是圖片裡的大白菜泡菜.

When Korean heard the word of Kimchi, Baechukimchi come across Korean's mind becuase baechukimchi is the most common kimchi.
當韓國人聽到"泡菜", 第一個在腦中想到的就是大白菜泡菜 因為它是最普遍的泡菜

However, Korea has over 100 kinds of kimchi.
然而,在韓國, 泡菜種類卻超過一百多種.


Different region has different kinds and flavor Kimchi, so if you have chance to travel Korea, I hope you try all different flavor of Kimchi.
在韓國,不同地區有不同種類和不同口味的泡菜,所以假如你有機會到韓國旅行,我希望你可以試試全部 不同口味的泡菜

Korea doesn't have exact recipe to make Kimchi.
韓國人並沒有非常準確 製作泡菜的食譜

Especially, Kimchi is one of the most difficult food to make it even though it is the most common food.
特別是,雖然泡菜是非常普遍的食物,但卻算是 所有難作的韓國菜中的 其中一樣.

Originaly, all kinds of Korean food doesn't have exact recipe like western food.. so it makes me difficult to make Korean food by myself.
基本上,所有韓國的菜不像西方的食物一樣 有標準的食譜. 也因為這個原因,讓我更難自己去烹飪韓國菜.

Whenever I asked my mom how to make some Korean food, my mom didn't tell me how many, how much, and how long I should put it.. 
不論何時我問我媽怎麼煮 一些韓國菜,我媽都不會跟我說"多少量"" 多少時間來煮"

She just told me, " 적당히 하면되"
她只會跟我說,"適量的 適當的"

OMG how much, how many, and how long is 적당히?
天啊 "多少量" "多久"卻只是"適量的 適當的"?

And she said, " it is easy !!! "
然後我媽說 " 那很簡單!!!!"

NONONONO  mommy ... it is not easy...  Please tell me HOW MUCH is 적당히 !!!
不不不不不 媽咪...不簡單啦... 請告訴我到底要多少量才是適量的!!!


However, nowdays we have a lot of good recipes, so I usually look at some easy recipy notes!! :)
但是 這幾年我有看過不少好的食譜,所以我通常可以跟著那些簡單的作法來煮一些簡單 的菜!!:)


anyway... I will come back to the story of Kimchi

All the Korean has Kimchi in thier house, and many of people has Kimchi refrigerator.
所有的韓國人家裡會有泡菜,另外很多韓國人家裡也會有泡菜冰箱

什麼是泡菜冰箱?

Kimchi refriegerator is refriegerator for Kimchi !!!
泡菜冰箱是專門為泡菜設計的冰箱!!!
Yain 講解時間  :
韓國的泡菜需要恆溫去發酵或是儲存,但是一般的冰箱沒辦法做到恆溫的狀態.
(這也是為什麼 很多人製作泡菜後 放到冰箱常會出現壞掉或失敗.)

韓國古早時期 是把泡菜放到甕裡埋在地下,但這對現代人來說 太不便利了.
後來韓國人發明了冰泡菜的冰箱,讓每個家庭裡都可以方便且新鮮的儲存泡菜.

在韓國人的家裡 通常 是可以看到兩種冰箱.
一種是一般的家電冰箱,另一種就是冰泡菜的冰箱.(樣子很像台灣 吃到飽餐廳裡放冰淇淋的冰箱)

我(Yain) 有看過可以設定溫度的冰泡菜的冰箱.
還看過把家電冰箱跟冰泡菜的冰箱做結合的-泡菜冰箱

Many Korean's house have two refrigerators !! Isn't that surprise ??
許多韓國人家裡有兩種冰箱!!驚不驚訝啊??

I think Kimchi refrigerator is really really Korean stuff !!
我覺的韓國冰箱真的就是韓國專有的東西吧!!
